About the Role

Senang Eco Services is looking for a proactive and creative
BD & Marketing Intern
to support our business development and communication initiatives across sustainability, ESG, climate strategy, and innovation-based services. This role blends research, outreach, content coordination, and proposal support—ideal for someone passionate about sustainability and eager to learn how a sustainability consulting firm operates.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development (BD)

  • Conduct research on potential clients, partners, and collaborators—especially within the
    sustainability, ESG, climate, and tourism sectors
    .
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and relevant industry events to support BD strategy.
  • Assist in identifying, qualifying, and profiling leads that fit
    Senang Eco's service scope
    (ESG, Net Zero, Innovation Lab, sustainability consulting).
  • Support the preparation of
    pitch decks, proposals, and presentation materials
    .
  • Maintain and update BD databases, CRM sheets, and pipeline tracking.
  • Understand the expertise and capabilities of each team member to ensure project opportunities align with Senang Eco's strengths.
  • Support coordination with external partners, consultants, vendors, and event organizers.
  • Assist with general BD tasks such as drafting outreach messages, organizing meetings, or preparing meeting notes.

Marketing & Communications (MarComm)

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure BD activities align with ongoing
    communication and content campaigns
    .
  • Conduct research on potential clients, partners, or collaborators (especially within sustainability, ESG, and tourism sectors).
  • Track market trends, competitors, and relevant industry events that can inform BD and marketing strategies.
  • Assist in identifying and profiling leads that fit Senang Eco's service scope (ESG, Net Zero, Innovation Lab).

Work Arrangement

  • This is a
    Work From Office (WFO)
    internship based in
    Bali
    .
  • If you are currently located outside Bali,
    relocation will be required
    for the duration of the internship.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong interest in sustainability, ESG, climate issues, tourism, or social impact.
  • Good research and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and writing skills (Bahasa Indonesia & English preferred).
  • Comfortable working with presentations (Google Slides/PowerPoint).
  • Proactive, organized, curious, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small, dynamic team.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Canva, design tools, or basic content creation.
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks or sustainability concepts.
  • Prior experience in student organizations, project management, or communications roles.
