About The Role

As a Software Quality Assurance Intern, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development and QA teams to create and execute test cases, identify bugs, and help refine testing processes. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for you to gain practical experience in quality assurance and testing methodologies.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality products and assist in understanding product features.
  • Conduct various types of testing to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues in web and mobile applications.
  • Assist in defining and confirming acceptance criteria with the product team to validate tasks.
  • Manage test cases, executing plans, and updating cases based on requirement changes.
  • Assist in writing clear and concise test cases, bug reporting and QA documentation to ensure they are easily understandable by others.
  • Learn and apply agile development methodologies to support iterative development and testing processes.
  • Actively participate in daily meetings with the product management and development team to align on requirements and progress.

Job Requirements

  • Familiar with the concepts of software quality and testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify and solve problems systematically.
  • Proficiency in creating QA documentation with clarity and precision.
  • Familiar with API Testing tools, such as postman.
  • Basic knowledge of bug-tracking tools (Jira, Gitlab Board, Trello, or similar) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Able to work 7-hour for at least 4 months, demonstrating self-motivation, responsibility, and adaptability.
