About the role

Canggu Community School (Badung) is seeking a dedicated Primary Year 1 Teacher Assistant to join our passionate team of educators in Bali. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our students' learning and development.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum
  • Providing individualised support and attention to students, helping them achieve their learning goals
  • Monitoring student progress and communicating with parents to ensure a positive learning experience
  • Participating in school events, field trips, and other extracurricular activities
  • Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a teacher assistant or working with young children in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
  • A passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of child development
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude to inspire and motivate young learners
