Manage all activities for carrying out quality inspections of finished goods products to ensure that finished goods product quality inspections are carried out in accordance with established standard procedures and methods and are carried out efficiently so that the products released comply with specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
  • Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
  • Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
  • Monitor the implementation of product inspections which include surface quality (visual defects), dimensions, shade, physical properties, industrial test laboratory samples, and dominant defect analysis to the maximum to minimize customer complaints.
  • Monitor all product standards and information on packaging in accordance with national standards and government regulations so that there are no product recalls.
  • Analyze in-process quality control data and formulate recommendations for initiatives to improve the capability/quality of the production process.
  • Provide quality maintenance training to relevant departments to increase the competence of the production team in maintaining and improving the quality of the production process.
  • Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemical Engineering
  • 5+ years' relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years in the position managerial, preferably in ceramic tile industry.
