We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent Project Development (Construction) to lead our key construction initiatives, including earthwork operations and the development of mining facilities.

Sr. Civil Engineer – PT. Natarang Mining

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily civil and construction activities, including earthworks, foundations, drainage systems, access roads, and structural works.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOQ, work methods, and technical specifications to ensure proper field execution.
• Ensure contractors comply with approved designs, QA/QC standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections, measurements, quality checks, and verify completed works prior to approval.
• Prepare accurate daily/weekly reports, progress updates, quantity tracking, and documentation for project monitoring.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Project, Mining, HSE, Procurement) to resolve technical issues and maintain smooth work execution.
• Identify on-site constraints, propose practical solutions, and support continuous improvement in construction activities.
• Ensure all civil works adhere to regulatory requirements, environmental guidelines, and company HSE policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years experience in civil construction within mining, heavy industry, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
• Strong hands-on experience supervising earthworks, drainage, foundations, roadworks, and structural construction.
• Good understanding of construction methods, QA/QC procedures, design codes, and HSE standards.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, BOQ, and technical documents.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and field teams to ensure proper execution of work.
• Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to prepare structured site documentation.
• Practical problem-solver, able to work effectively in field conditions and fast-paced project environments.
