DESIGN ASSISTANT

  • Assist and support the design team in creating innovative styles.
  • Conduct research and surveys on current fashion trends.
  • Develop and create accurate spec packs and detailed layouts.
  • Modify and make changes in design layouts.
  • Deliver quality samples on time together with sample manager.
  • Managing databases and filing systems digital of techpack, flat drawing, speech sheet, picture/image.
  • Collating and filing expenses from sample manager bulk of material for client costing (sample and production docket) and range plan.
  • Make sketches of proposed designs.
  • Provide support by assisting in photo-shoots.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers any new development on material or sourcing.

SAMPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain list of sample status on production schedule.
  • Review all samples and cross-check against spec sheet.
  • Ensures production samples are correct and hands over all up to date details of the order/samples/specs to the production manager and fashion design.
  • Follow up sewer sample to reach target maximal a day.
  • Follow up all fabrics in process : strike off print, dye.
  • Final check quality control of sample before forward sample manager.
  • Take photos and update data directly with current (last picture that approved by client).
  • Make sure QC has all specs each style and details of sample.
  • Recorded all details of accessories : label position, composition, button, zipper, etc and put into specs sheet for QC.
