Job Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead and mentor developers, ensuring skill growth and productivity.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve complex coding or architectural issues.

Project Oversight

  • Oversee software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations.

Product & Business Alignment

  • Act as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Quality Assurance

  • Establish coding standards, review code, and enforce best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.

Innovation & Strategy

  • Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies for adoption.
  • Contribute to long-term technical strategy and scalability planning.

Operational Management

  • Assist in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Set team goals and track progress against KPIs.

Technical Strategy & Architecture

  • Managing Technical Debt
  • Stack Selection
  • Scalability Planning

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a BSc-equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tech Lead and 5 years as a Senior Developer.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with at least one programming language and a solid understanding of two or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS or Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, etc.
  • Experience designing APIs (REST/GraphQL) consumed by multiple frontend clients (Web and Mobile).
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with various infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm charts, and monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus).
  • Experience and understanding of different frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Agile practices, etc.).
  • Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of Microservices Architecture principles and patterns, with hands-on experience in design and implementation.
