Notably, Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co., Ltd. became a part of SGMW on November 18, 2002, through a collaboration with SAIC Motor Co., Ltd. and General Motors. The company is dedicated to maintaining exceptional service standards, supported by regular training programs. Recently, in 2023 and 2024, We expanded its customer base, adding notable clients such as Ingress and Chery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection, both Direct and Indirect suppliers.

• Perform price and requirement analysis in accordance with requests from the User Department.

• Familiar with using the Accurate system.
• Prepare and follow up on Purchase Orders (PO) to ensure on-time delivery.
• Review invoices from vendors and suppliers and submit them for payment processing to the Finance Department.
• Possess strong analytical skills in the preparation and management of Purchase Contracts.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse, Finance, and Requesting Departments regarding purchased goods.
• Conduct periodic evaluations of supplier performance.
• Able to manage files properly, both soft files and hard copy documents.
• Determine the appropriate Harmonized System (HS) Code.
• Have a good understanding of Incoterms 2020.
• Understand the scope and limitations of activities under API-P.
• Understand the permitted business activities in accordance with the applicable KBLI.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with overseas shippers in preparing overseas documentation.
• Prepare, review, and process all required shipping documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (B/L) or Air Waybill (AWB), Certificate of Origin (COO), Purchase/Sales Contract, Insurance, and Import Declaration (PIB).
• Understand and monitor Steel Import Quotas.
• Understand the process for applying for Steel Import Approval (PI Besi Baja).
• Prepare monthly reports related to Steel Imports to LNSW and the Ministry of Trade (INATRADE).
• Prepare quarterly reports to the Ministry of Industry (SIINAS) and Statistics Indonesia (BPS).
• Stay up to date with government regulations related to export–import activities.
• Coordinate with various parties, including Shippers, Shipping Lines, Forwarders, and Customs.
• Have a good understanding of taxation in the importation process.
• Monitor and control logistics costs and prepare detailed shipment cost summaries.
• Able to manage documents properly, both soft files and hard copy documents.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Purchasing, Logistics, and Supply Chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, including supplier selection, cost analysis, and contract negotiation.
• Good knowledge of logistics and transportation management, both domestic and international.
• Familiar with HS Code, Incoterm 2020, and import–export regulations.
• Experience in handling import documentation such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, B/L, AWB, COO, PIB, Insurance, and Purchase Contracts.
• Able to coordinate effectively with suppliers, forwarders, shipping lines, customs, warehouse, and internal departments.
• Knowledge of inventory control, delivery scheduling, and cost optimization.
• Familiar with ERP systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Good English communication skills (Mandarin is an advantage).
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage soft and hard copy documentation efficiently
