About the Company

Baskit turns every medium and small-sized wholesaler into a super-powered mini-distributor by providing sales enablement software, go-to-market services, and supply chain financing.

We are hiring: Engineering Lead

We are looking for an Engineering Lead who is passionate about building scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems that power Baskit's national operations as we expand across Java and beyond.

This role will work closely with the Head of Product and play a critical role in designing and optimizing the core infrastructure behind our ERP, Cashflow, and Risk platforms.

If you have 7+ of experience as a software engineer (Supply chain management or ERP background preferred), strong proficiency in leadership/management role, and a knack for problem-solving in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you

IMPORTANT: We are only considering candidates who are able to commute to our BSD office.

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

  • Design, implement, and oversee scalable system architectures across ERP, Cashflow, RiskWatch, and AI platforms.

  • Define best practices for CI/CD, testing, and code quality across backend, frontend, mobile, and DevSecOps teams.

  • Oversee system reliability, data integrity, and infrastructure security.

Team Management & Collaboration

  • Lead a cross-functional team of backend, frontend, mobile, DevSecOps, and QA engineers.

  • Mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and guide professional development.

  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Platform Evolution & Innovation

  • Partner with Product and AI teams to integrate intelligence into workflows (e.g., prompt-based automation, RAG systems, and smart decision layers).

  • Translate business goals into technical strategies that align with Baskit's product roadmap.

  • Ensure engineering resources are allocated efficiently to meet product milestones.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders (Product, PMO, Business, and Data).

  • Oversee incident response, release management, and documentation processes.

  • Continuously optimize system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Advanced technical leadership certifications are a plus.

  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, , , Flutter, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

  • Strong understanding of API design, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code.

  • Familiarity with prompt-based automation, data retrieval (RAG), and AI model integration.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Strategic mindset: able to balance long-term technical vision with short-term delivery.

  • Native fluency in Bahasa, Conversational in English.
