Responsibilities:

  • Lead formulation and development of new skincare, personal care, and cosmetic products, from ideation through pilot scale and commercialization.
  • Analyze global beauty and skincare trends to shape product innovation and ensure competitiveness .
  • Manage R&D projects, budgets, and timelines; ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Regulatory) to guarantee product readiness for market.
  • Oversee stability tests, sensory evaluations, regulatory compliance (BPOM, Halal), and scale-up processes.
  • Prepare technical documentation for product registration, patents, and compliance.
  • Mentor and develop the R&D team, fostering innovation and efficiency.
  • Maintain a strong network with raw material suppliers and external research partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of R&D experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, or personal care products, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven track record in formulating and launching consumer personal care or cosmetic products.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements (BPOM, Halal, GMP) and product stability testing.
  • Strong project management skills, able to oversee multiple development timelines and budgets.
  • Excellent leadership and team development capabilities; able to inspire and guide technical teams.
  • Strategic thinker with sharp market insight and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on collaborator with supply chain, marketing, and regulatory teams.
