​PT Sura Baja Solusi is a leading provider of industrial solutions and an Authorized Distributor for Hempel, a world-leading supplier of trusted coating solutions. We specialize in delivering high-performance protective coatings to the Marine, Energy, and Infrastructure sectors across Batam. We are currently seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to strengthen our market presence.

​The Role

​The Marketing Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing marketing strategies that drive demand for Hempel products through PT Sura Baja Solusi. Your goal is to position our company as the top-of-mind distributor for shipyards, fabricators, and contractors in the Batam region.

​Key Responsibilities

  • ​Strategic Planning:

Develop localized marketing campaigns specifically for the Batam market to increase the sales turnover of Hempel products.

  • ​Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in Batam's shipyards, offshore fabrication yards, and industrial plants.

  • ​Product Promotion:

Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations (in coordination with the technical team) to highlight the value of Hempel's coating systems.

  • ​Lead Generation:

Identify new project tenders and industrial developments within the Batam Free Trade Zone.

​Brand Alignment:

Ensure all marketing materials and activities align with both Hempel's global standards and PT Sura Baja Solusi's corporate identity.

  • ​Competitor Analysis:

Monitor competitor pricing, stock availability, and marketing tactics within the local Batam area.

​Requirements

  • ​Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Marketing or Technical Sales, specifically within Industrial Coatings, Marine hardware, or Construction chemicals.

  • ​Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Marketing, Business, or Chemical/Marine Engineering.

​Local Network: Proven track record or existing network within the Batam shipyard and industrial community.

  • ​Skills:

* Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

​Ability to translate technical product specifications into commercial benefits.

* ​Proficiency in English (essential for coordinating with Hempel regional offices) and Bahasa Indonesia.

​Mobility: Must be based in Batam and willing to travel frequently to customer sites across the island.
