About the Role

Our client is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to act as a key driver in shaping enterprise cloud strategies. This role is a blend of technical leadership and strategic solution selling, focused on delivering end-to-end cloud solutions that solve complex business challenges.

You will operate as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, CFOs), responsible for translating high-level business requirements into scalable, secure, and impactful cloud architectures. Your goal is to help key enterprise clients accelerate their digital transformation journey by articulating the tangible value of cloud services in areas like agility, cost efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Cloud Solution Selling

  • Lead pre-sales engagements, including high-level presentations, solution demos, and cloud architecture workshops.
  • Identify and analyze customer needs, converting them into compelling cloud business cases.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to expand cloud adoption and accelerate transformation across key enterprise clients.
  • Lead the development of RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, and solution documentation.

2. Cloud Architecture & Design

  • Design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures tailored to client requirements, spanning AWS, Google Cloud (GCP), Azure, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Develop end-to-end cloud adoption roadmaps, covering workload migration, application modernization, compliance, security, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct comprehensive architecture assessments to identify gaps, risks, and performance issues, and then recommend effective remediation strategies.
  • Provide expert insights on the competitive differentiators across major cloud platforms to influence key technology decisions.

3. Partnerships & Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and other technology partners to co-create integrated solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal sales, engineering, delivery, and product teams to ensure solution success and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage both business and technical stakeholders to drive alignment, adoption, and long-term value from cloud investments.
What You Need to Bring
  • Experience: A minimum of 5+ years in pre-sales, cloud solution architecture, or high-level technical consulting.
  • Expertise: A proven track record in leading cloud transformation projects, solution selling, and managing enterprise-level accounts.
  • Cloud Platforms: Strong technical expertise in one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), including infrastructure, networking, security, Kubernetes, and containerization.
  • Solution Areas: Experience designing solutions for DevOps, AI/ML, hybrid/multi-cloud environments, data migration, or cloud modernization.
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to influence C-level decision-makers and non-technical audiences.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Professional cloud certifications are highly preferred (e.g., AWS Solution Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Architect).
  • Advantageous:
    • Experience working with clients across Southeast Asia.
    • A background in software development or familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
