PLC Engineer

About the role

As a PLC Engineer at PT Sriboga Flour Mill, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the company's automated systems. This full-time position is based in Semarang, Central Java, providing you the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Designing, programming, and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure the efficient operation of the company's production equipment and processes
2. Developing and implementing PLC software, including creating custom applications and integrating them with other systems
3. Performing regular maintenance, testing, and calibration of PLC systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to the company's automation systems
5. Staying up-to-date with the latest PLC technologies, programming techniques, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a PLC Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
3. Proficiency in programming and configuring various PLC brands, such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, or Schneider Electric
4. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
5. Excellent understanding of industrial automation systems, including sensors, motors, and other related components
6. Familiarity with SCADA systems, HMI, and industrial communication protocols
7. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and make informed decisions

8. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams

9. Willing to be placed in Semarang, Central Java
