Role Description

The Lead Consultant is responsible for driving strategic consulting initiatives that integrate scientific rigor with innovative business thinking. This role requires a professional with a strong creative mindset who can translate complex scientific insights into viable business strategies, technology transfer pathways, and impactful solutions for clients and partners.

The Lead Consultant will lead multidisciplinary engagements, provide thought leadership, and act as a key advisor to stakeholders across research, industry, and public sectors. The position demands the ability to identify opportunities from scientific discoveries, design commercially and socially relevant solutions, and guide execution from concept to implementation.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic consulting and senior-level client engagement, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver bespoke, high-impact solutions.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end project leadership, including planning, execution, governance, and delivery of multidisciplinary initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience in guiding, mentoring, and aligning cross-functional teams toward shared strategic objectives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific or technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
  • Solid understanding of relevant industry tools, technologies, and analytical methodologies, enabling the design of solutions aligned with client needs and innovation goals.
  • High level of adaptability and resilience, with the capacity to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced or interdisciplinary academic backgrounds are an advantage.
