JOB SUMMARY

  1. Work collectively as a Trade Analyst to optimize commercial opportunities
  2. Responsible for all trade related matters supporting the trade manager
  3. Working closely with ARO trade and HO line management teams
  4. Coordinate closely with sales teams to obtain market information related to the trade
  5. Remain as a backup for agency trade manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Trade Manager to build & analyse vessel profiles
  • Identify industry verticals that can boost trade volumes, expand pipeline
  • Coordinate will all ID Branches on trade specific developments
  • Closely monitor vessel traffic light and ensure required action is taken across Indonesia
  • Monitor feeder and mother vessel utilization to ensure allocations are fulfilled
  • Produce commercial forecasts
  • Support TM to analyse market identification by trade
  • Prioritize Lines instructions to Commercial Manager and Sales Representatives
  • Regular monitoring and reporting of competitor activities and maintain competitor matrix
  • Report to ALL ID Sales of competitor activities in the market regularly to ARO & HO teams
  • Work closely with ARO & HO Trades and Lines to meet trade objectives
  • Back up Trade Managers
  • Ensure close coordination with sales support and sales teams as required to ensure we achieve the commercial targets
  • Collate information in regards to trade, competitor pricing , routing and digital pricing to TM
  • Attend commercial reviews as required, attend all the required trade meetings
  • Manage cargo selection in coordination with trade and cargo flow

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Level of Qualification:

  1. Minimum 2 years working experience in shipping/forwarding industry
  2. Bachelor's degree University graduated Preferably in Logistics/Transportation, Economics/Business, Marketing, or equivalent, qualified sales achievement

Professional Skills:

  1. English fluency
  2. Excellent presentation
  3. Customer Network coverage in any industry
  4. Knowledge shipping / forwarding industry

Personal Qualities:

  1. Good presentation and pleasant looking
  2. Good interpersonal communication
  3. Assertive and tactful
  4. Highly motivated, result oriented individual
