About the role

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our growing team at PT Utopia Kuliner Indonesia. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating exceptional and innovative designs for our diverse range of restaurant and hospitality projects. This is a full-time position based in Semarang, Central Java.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with the design team to develop cohesive and visually appealing interior designs for new and existing restaurant and hospitality spaces
  • Conduct site surveys
  • Produce detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings to effectively communicate your ideas
  • Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and suppliers to ensure successful implementation of your designs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and best practices in the industry
  • Provide excellent customer service and collaborate closely with clients to bring their visions to life

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality sector
  • Strong technical skills in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking abilities to develop unique and functional design solutions
  • Effective communication and client-facing skills to present your ideas and receive feedback
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
