About the role

We are seeking a Finance Tax professional to join our team at PT Koka Indonesia. As a Finance Tax specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant tax regulations and optimising our tax strategies. This full-time position is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and filing accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax, and other applicable taxes
  2. Analysing and interpreting tax laws, regulations, and guidelines to ensure the company's tax practices are compliant
  3. Implementing tax planning strategies to minimise the company's tax liabilities
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide tax-related advice and guidance
  5. Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support tax filings
  6. Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and best practices
  7. Assisting with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or tax advisory roles
  3. Thorough understanding of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  6. Proficient in using tax software and financial reporting tools
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
