Our client, a fast-growing property investment and finance group based in Bali, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join their expanding technology team. This role offers the opportunity to play a crucial part in maintaining and improving the quality of the company's digital platforms and software solutions.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing effective testing frameworks to ensure that all software products meet the highest standards of performance, functionality, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring that every release is tested thoroughly and delivered flawlessly.

Requirements:

  • Open to local candidates only.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least two years of professional experience as a QA Engineer; prior experience as an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) is essential.
  • Holding a relevant professional certification (A4Q SDET) is highly preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with property development or financial services industries will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL & NoSQL queries and API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing.
  • Conduct various testing types including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing across platforms.
  • Detect, document, and monitor bugs and issues using appropriate tracking tools.
  • Define and analyze QA metrics, such as defect density, test coverage, and open defect counts, to evaluate quality levels.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on test progress, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform UI/UX and API testing to ensure an optimal user experience.
  • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline processes and improve reliability.
  • Write, execute, and debug automated test scripts while continuously enhancing test automation coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment.
  • Work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Communicate testing updates, risks, and findings in a clear and timely manner to all relevant parties.
