For over 35 years, we have been a leading industrial producer of L-Menthol, using our core technology, asymmetric synthesis.
This technology enables us to produce unique, novel, and nature-identical aroma ingredients, and in addition, to manufacture pharmaceutical intermediates, functional materials, and other fine chemicals.

Takasago Group maintains offices, production sites, and R&D centers in twenty-seven countries and regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding various odour notes and Takasago's olfactive language
  1. Smelling basic odour notes and understanding fragrance families
  2. Descriptive creative associations
  • Familiarization of fragrance library
  1. Effective use and maintenance of the fragrance library
  2. Identify gaps
  • Active participation in the Evaluation Sessions (actual projects, fragrance stability in actual product matrix, new product launches, etc) on categories assigned .
  • Project management – under the guidance of a Senior Evaluator.
  1. Develop olfactive strategies for assigned projects.
  2. Develop a common communication platform with Perfumers and fellow Evaluators.
  3. Clear articulation on progress of projects and communications.
  4. Meet project deadlines.
  • Build creative sensory and evaluation expertise.
  • Acquire learnings and carry out in-house/customers' evaluation protocols and practice use of internal panel.
  • Market/product familiarity for awareness of the needs, trends and consumer preferences in Indonesia and identify interesting fragrances from key product launches for creative interpretations.
  • Participate in the interpretation of consumer test results, understand MR tools and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree from Chemistry, chemical engineering or other related fields.
  • 5 years of experience in the same industry, fragrance house is preferred.
  • Good project management skills
  • Knowledge of sensory evaluation 
  • Knowledge of fragrance chemicals 
  • Independent 
  • Good Presentation Skill
