Responsibilities:
As Flavor Sensory Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Organizing the day-to-day
raw material and Finished goods panel . - Joining regular sensory testing.
- Selecting reference standard.
- Following the global guideline for Flavour
sensory testing. - Following the correct sensory descriptors, ranges and the
scoring which are unique to different Flavours. - Facilitate the
atmosphere of respectful discussion when there are different sensory opinions. - Ability to update the
knowledge on continual basis and
co-ordinate with Regional QC on BCP Flavours. - Good interpersonal
skills to interact with flavorists and
seek their consensus when needed for sensory decision making. - Run the sensory test
for the QC team on regular basis and discuss the results with Regional QC for
upgrading team knowledge. - Support the production
department and warehouse department to check the contamination and suggest
remedial measures based on the type of contamination.
Qualifications:
- Chemistry graduate
with 7 to 10 years' experience. - Previous experience in
sensory would be an added advantage for this position. - Good sensory skills
(both odour and tasting). This will be evaluated through a test. - Strong knowledge of
Flavour raw materials and their
identification by odour. - Previous decision-making
experience of Flavours ( liquid and powder) for the MNA/ Key customers
preferred. - Ability to make the
decision during conflicting situations and convincing skills based on the
evaluations. - Open-minded, conscientious and strong decision
maker. - Good interpersonal and organizing skills.
