Role Description

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is a full-time on-site role where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud and on-premise infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our systems. This role requires expertise in cloud platforms, automation, networking, and infrastructure monitoring to support our development and production environments efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure for web and mobile applications.
  • Manage
    cloud infrastructure
    (AWS, GCP, or Alibaba) and on-premise environments.
  • Implement
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Automate system deployments, updates, and scaling using
    CI/CD pipelines
    (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Monitor and optimize
    system performance, network security, and server uptime.
  • Configure and maintain
    Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications.
  • Ensure
    disaster recovery and backup strategies
    are in place and regularly tested.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize deployment and operational workflows.
  • Implement
    logging, monitoring, and alerting
    using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
  • Enhance
    network security
    by managing firewalls, VPNs, and access control policies.

Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or system administration.
  • Experience with
    cloud providers
    like AWS, GCP, Alibaba, or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Linux/Unix system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Infrastructure as Code
    (IaC) (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with
    container orchestration
    (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in
    monitoring and logging
    (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
  • Proficiency in
    scripting and automation
    (Python, Bash, or Go).
  • Strong understanding of
    networking, security, and system scalability.
  • Knowledge of
    CI/CD tools
    (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
