Maintenance Planner

Scope of Work:

1. Develop Master List of Activities & Timeline

2. Breakdown sequence of tasks by system/equipment

3. Identify critical paths and interdependencies

4. Integrate vendor/internal schedules

5. Manpower Planning & Allocation

6. Detail manpower requirement per activity

7. Shift planning and resource leveling

8. Coordination with contractors and internal teams

9. Cost Mapping & Allocation

10. Estimate cost per activity and resource

11. Budget tracking and variance analysis

12. Method Statement & Safety Documentation

13. Centralize method statements from internal and external sources

14. Ensure alignment with HSE standards and shutdown safety protocols

15. Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and Permit-to-Work documentation

16. Material & Spare Parts Planning

17. Identify required materials and spares per activity

18. Coordinate procurement and delivery timelines

19. Track inventory and ensure availability before shutdown

20. Tool & Equipment Coordination

21. Plan availability of special tools and lifting equipment

22. Schedule calibration and readiness checks

23. Shutdown Communication Plan

24. Develop communication matrix for all stakeholders

25. Schedule daily coordination meetings and progress updates

26. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

27. Create templates for daily progress tracking

28. Define KPIs and reporting cadence
29. Post-shutdown review and lessons learned documentation

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance planning role, preferably in the mining industry
2. Strong technical knowledge of mining equipment and maintenance practices
3. Proficiency in data analysis and the use of maintenance management software
4. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to mentor and train others
6. Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualifications
