About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Staff to join our team at Barokah Perkasa Group in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our company's accounting and reporting functions.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform general accounting tasks such as recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data
  • Maintain and update financial records and databases
  • Provide support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the Accounting & Financial Reporting industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
