About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer Upstream Maintenance to join our team at PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara. This is a full-time position based in West Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for the maintenance of our upstream mining operations, ensuring optimal equipment performance and maximising productivity.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and plans for upstream mining assets and equipment
  2. Oversee the execution of preventative and corrective maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise asset utilisation
  3. Analyse maintenance data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation
  4. Lead a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, providing direction, coaching and performance management
  5. Collaborate with operations, procurement and other stakeholders to ensure the timely availability of parts, tools and resources
  6. Ensure all maintenance activities are compliant with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  2. Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in mining or heavy industrial maintenance management
  3. Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing maintenance strategies, including predictive and condition-based monitoring techniques
  4. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making abilities
  6. Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and data analysis tools
  7. Fluency in English, both written and verbal
