As Legal Counsel, she/he will provide regulatory guidance and legal advice to companies. They give expert opinions to help management understand legal matters that affect business operations and transactions. They may also represent in criminal, civil cases and litigation management.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and reviewing the legal aspects of transactions, contracts, cooperation agreements, and joint ventures.
  • Indexing and documenting all company-related documents, including but not limited to cooperation agreements, contracts with vendors or suppliers, corporate documents (articles of association, deed of establishment, etc.), and all outgoing company correspondence.
  • Providing legal assistance for new product launches.
  • Managing corporate permits, including processing, renewals/maintenance, and ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborating with company executives to implement corporate legal strategies and standards.
  • Supporting the annual budget preparation process by compiling data, preparing templates, and assisting with budget review and analysis.
  • Monitoring budget performance and conducting variance analysis, as well as identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial projections and forecasts to support long-term planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinating with external legal counsel for specific purposes, including but not limited to corporate actions, legal due diligence, trademark certificates, and so on.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law with minimum 5 years experiences in a legal role, preferably with experience in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of relevant regulations such as OJK/PSAK/etc, contracts, licensing, and legal compliance
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English is a plus
