Job Summary:

The Commis is responsible for daily kitchen operations, preparing high-quality dishesand ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. This role requires strong culinary skills, time management, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and high standards.
  • Ensure food is prepared according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before dishes leave the kitchen.
  • Oversee proper storage and rotation of inventory (FIFO method).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced, hot kitchen environment.
  • Requires standing for long periods
  • Includes weekend, holiday, and evening shifts.
