  • Prepare the server environment for TestRail (OS, web server, PHP, ionCube).
  • Install and configure TestRail On-Premise on Windows or Linux.
  • Set up the TestRail database (MySQL/SQL Server) and attachment repository.
  • Configure HTTPS/SSL, firewall rules, security settings, and LDAP/SSO integration (if required).
  • Perform installation smoke testing to ensure the setup is successful.
  • Support TestRail integration with JIRA and CI/CD from the server-side perspective.
  • Create complete documentation for TestRail installation and configuration.
  • Provide troubleshooting support during implementation and UAT.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience installing and configuring web-based applications using IIS (Windows Server) or Apache (Linux).
  • Proficient in installation and configuration of: PHP 8.1, ionCube Loader, Imagick, IIS (Windows Server) or Apache (Linux)
  • Familiar with MySQL or SQL Server, including setup for applications such as TestRail.
  • Strong understanding of SSL/TLS (HTTPS) setup, firewall configuration, ports, and basic server hardening principles.
  • Basic knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory/SSO integration (added advantage).
  • Capable of creating clear technical documentation for installation and configuration procedures.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting server-side application issues.
  • Added advantage: experience integrating tools such as JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, or other QA/DevOps tools.
