Job Description:

  • Developing efficient routes for the movement of goods from DC to Store and DC to HUB, considering factors like distance, traffic, and Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Ensuring vehicles are well-maintained, roadworthy, and compliant with Company and government regulations.
  • Optimizing fuel consumption, minimizing maintenance costs, and reducing overall expenses.
  • Supervising drivers, scheduling routes, and ensuring efficient operations.

Job Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree from any major
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in transportation management.
  • Strong on-ground experience in dealing with fleet owners and transporters.
  • Hands-on expertise in fleet management of company vehicles.
  • Ability to manage and optimize Cost-per-Km metrics, reduce logistics expenses, and improve fuel efficiency.
  • Experience in building long-term partnerships with transporters & 3PL vendors.
  • Skilled in contract negotiations to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
  • Capable of monitoring vendor performance and ensuring compliance with SLA.
  • Knowledge of government regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Proven track record of overseeing large-scale transportation operations, ensuring on-time deliveries across multiple cities.
  • Prior experience in the Cold Chain industry will be considered an added advantage.
