We're Hiring: Head of Data Science

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Head of Data Science to lead our data-driven initiatives in Jakarta, Indonesia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and big data technologies, with a proven track record of translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and oversee the data science function to deliver advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that drive commercial and operational performance.
  • Define and execute the data science strategy aligned with the company's analytics roadmap and business objectives.
  • Supervise the development and deployment of machine learning models to improve forecasting, personalization, and decision-making.
  • Analyze complex datasets and build predictive models to generate actionable insights for business optimization.
  • Translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with business units, IT, product development, analytics, and BI teams to embed data science capabilities into products and processes.
  • Ensure the delivery of data-driven insights through reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Engage with external partners, technology vendors, AI platform providers, and research communities to drive innovation and best practices.

What We're Looking For:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
  • Diploma 4 (D4) or equivalent in Computer Science or related disciplines

Experience

  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in data science, computer and technology, digital, high-tech, or business-related roles
  • Proven experience leading data science or advanced analytics initiatives at a strategic level

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Advanced expertise in data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics
  • Strong analytical and data modeling capabilities
  • Experience delivering data-driven insights through dashboards and reporting
  • Solid understanding of data infrastructure, pipelines, and analytics platforms
