About the Role

This role will be responsible for leading and executing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies across cloud or hybrid infrastructure. This role ensures operational resilience, manages recovery planning, and oversees cloud service delivery with a project management approach.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the IT Disaster Recovery strategy aligned with business continuity and risk management frameworks
• Develop, maintain, and test IT disaster recovery plans for critical systems and cloud platforms.
• Responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT projects that support business objectives.
• Lead cross-functional recovery exercises and ensure compliance with business continuity standards.
• Manage cloud operations, including performance monitoring, incident response, and vendor coordination.
• Oversee infrastructure recovery projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to assess risks and recovery capabilities.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and recovery metrics for audit and reporting purposes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in DR and cloud service reliability
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST, BCP/DR standards).

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) in Technical/Information System/Other related educations
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT operations, Cloud platform such us AWS, Azure, GCP and information security. 3 years in a dedicated Disaster Recovery (DR) or Business Continuity (BC) role.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining IT Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) across complex, hybrid IT environments (on-premises, cloud, and SaaS).
• Hands-on experience with DR tools and technologies, such as backup and replication platforms (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Zerto, Azure Site Recovery).
• Demonstrated success in planning and executing DR tests, including failover/failback scenarios, tabletop exercises, and post-test analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, application support, cybersecurity, and business continuity.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as ISO 22301, NIST, ITIL, and local data protection laws.
• Strong background in risk assessment, impact analysis, and IT service continuity planning.
• Experience in reporting to senior leadership and presenting DR readiness metrics, audit findings, and recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud governance, cost optimization, and FinOps practices.
• Excellent communication skill & fluent in English.

Certifications/licenses (are an advantage):

• Certified Business Continue Professional
• Technical certification (e.g. Azure, AWS GCP)
• ITIL foundation or higher
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
