Senior Transactional Accountant

Join a global finance team at Allianz Partners' Finance Factory. As a Transactional Senior Accountant, you'll collaborate with cross‑cultural stakeholders and multiple legal entities to ensure accurate postings under local and IFRS, deliver clear P&L and balance sheet analysis, resolve feeder‑system issues, and support audit‑ready closes. What you'll do:

• Analyse P&L and balance sheet by legal entity: identify shortcomings in bookings and implement corrections
• Perform accounting postings and booking: record operations and transactions per group/internal and regulatory requirements and deadlines under local and IFRS GAAP, tax, and legal frameworks
• Ensure feeder system transactions are recorded; investigate and resolve issues
• Clear open item transactions in balance sheet accounts; justify and document open items and balances
• Perform and document bank reconciliations
• Review accounting journals to finalize monthly results and identify discrepancies
• Support external audits and drive closure of related finding
• Interface with local stakeholders: manage posting queries, coordinate timely responses across Transactional Accounting teams, and communicate roles, responsibilities, and processes

• Ability to work and communicate with different cultures, levels, and organizations worldwide
• Finance acumen with strong accounting proficiency
• SAP proficiency
