Restaurant and Bar Manager

Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth service and high standards.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing any complaints or issues promptly.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies. Place orders and oversee stock control.
- Financial Management: Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and analyze financial reports to maximize profitability.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs and bartenders to develop and update menus, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract customers, including special events, promotions, and social media engagement.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. Conduct regular inspections and training to maintain standards.
- Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate special events, private parties, and catering services as needed.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on operations, financial performance, and customer feedback for management.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in restaurant and bar management or similar roles, typically 1-2 years.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, as well as liquor licensing laws.
- Understanding of food and beverage trends, menu development, and service standards.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
