**POSITION**

The Analyst is responsible for **supporting government affairs and public policy projects** in Indonesia,

across a variety of sectors and in a cross-cultural setting.

Experience in either the government or in the private sector working with the government will be

favorably considered.

**PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES**
- **Strategic counsel**:Develop recommendations to facilitate client engagement with

stakeholders to advance GR objectives in Indonesia across various sectoral and policy issues.
- **Research**: Oversee the research and drafting of analytical reports.
- **Client management**: Serve as a point of contact with senior executives from multinational

corporations across multiple projects.
- **Government relations**:Liaise and coordinate with officials at government agencies on behalf

of clients.
- **Firm representation**: Represent V&P at external engagements, including business missions,

meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- **Business development**: Supports proposal developments and meetings.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- We prefer three to six years relevant work experience in an in-house government or external

affairs role in a multi-national company, consulting, government, journalism, or think tanks,
- A relevant undergraduate degree, preferably in areas of political science, economics, public

policy, law, or international relations. An advanced degree is a value-add.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Indonesia’s political and policy dynamics.
- Effective time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Motivated self-starter, team player, eagerness to contribute to firm’s growth.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is a must. Fluency in Indonesia

Language is required.
