**Position Overview**
Forest Carbon is seeking a motivated leader that can lead a variety of operations on the logistics and procurement side of the business. As Forest Carbon is scaling with restoration projects, we are seeking a highly-skilled, organized procurement specialist to join our growing company. In this position, you will discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships. Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms. Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries. Examine and test existing contracts.

**Scope of Duties**
**Inventory and Suppliers**
- Develop a system for efficient reception, clearance, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment.
- Manage the inventory and office equipment, including all assets in the field such as vehicles, GPS, laptops, boats, generators, solar panels, and all other technical items using either petrol, diesel, or kerosene to maximize efficiency and ensure regular maintenance as well as logistic report and maintaining accurate records.
- Supporting equipment mobilization and demobilization to and from the field.
- Among the duties connected to suppliers are: researching and evaluating prospective suppliers, maintaining and updating supplier information, and nurturing relations with them.
- Work closely with vendors and Finance team to obtain needed materials with particular attention to cost control, quality, and timely delivery.

**Team Collaboration**
- Prepare appropriate forms for procurement and designation of project and maintenance materials, ensuring approval by the appropriate staff in consultation with the Finance Manager and Operational/Technical team.
- Provide weekly reports on logistic and procurement activities to the Finance Manager and Operational Manager.
- Planning and procuring goods, services, and supplies in collaboration with another team member of Forest Carbon if needed.
- Arrange for transportation and lodging for team members, including PCR/Antigen tests (if it is required). Make and confirm travel reservations for team members.
- Handle advance cash and petty cash payments to team members, keeping records and filing.
- Ensure HSSE protocols are being carried out for all Forest Carbon Employees.
- Ensure documentation for foreign employees and visits is completed and in place.

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**
- Great relationship management and strong negotiation skills.
- Impeccable time management and ability to adapt to change.
- Understanding of risk management and ability to enhance sustainability.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel. Word, Outlook)
- Graduated with Bachelor's Degree.
- Ability to work in a multicultural, multilingual environment.
- At least 3 years experience in procurement and logistic.
