**JOB DETAIL**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring vessels are in safe condition and in compliance with specification and class
- Ensuring maximized availability, reliability and efficiency of the vessel, permanent equipment and crew, while adhering to the approved budgets.
- Ensuring plan maintenance work is properly planned and carried out by ship’s crew and make regular ship visit
- Planning, preparing and executing works managed by external parties, and ensuring timely definition of scope and work and schedule
- Monitoring expiry dates of vessel’s trading certificates
- Monitoring daily operation and coordinating with vessel to render necessary assistance
- Monitoring and reporting status of the maintenance and repaid budget on a monthly basis
- Assisting with technical superintendent for responsible vessels and compliance with required regulations
- Liaising with various suppliers and service providers for technical issues so as to ensure that the quality of services rendered by suppliers is acceptable
- Managing technical vessel operation in the absence of the Technical Superintendent
- Supervising directly the construction deck crew and the construction subscontractors in the performance of the construction work
- Providing data for major machinery failures and any resulting insurance claims
- Maintaining the vessels compliance with the international regulations and Company procedures
- Ensuring vessels are supplied with spares and stores in a timely order as per company procedures
- Participating in safety management system review meetings
- Preparing full vessel inspection as per company’s procedures
- Preparing dry-docking specifications, and tender documents
- Coordinating with crewing on related matters
- Preparing monthly report on vessel’s budgeted and actual expenditure and submit/report to Technical Manager on time
- Checking all bills for repairs/luboils/spares/stores and keeping verification of same through shipboard record of supplies/consumption
- Ensuring that all forms are filled in correctly and filed onboard/sent to the office
- General support to all company’s program
- Improving performance of operational work/activities carried out on the vessel
- Suitable international regualtions and Company’s procedures to the vessels and its plant and equipment
- Monitoring of vessel performance including daily consumption spareparts

**JOB QUALIFICATION**:
**Requirements**:

- Min. Bachelor degree in Naval Architect, Naval Engineering, Marine Engineering
- Educational background of ATT are welcome
- Min. 1 year as Technical Superintendent Assistant in shipping company
- Fluent in English both oral and written
- Will to travel
- Required Knowledge and Skill(s): International conventional regulation, ship management, internal audit, ISM Code, ISPS Code, basic safety, tankers familiarization, Microsoft Office and computer literate.
- Have achievement orientation, customer service orientation, continuous improvement, interpersonal relationship, proactive, able to analysis issue and use sound judgment, planning organizing, concern for order, orientation to detail, work efficiently, and coordination.
