**Position Summary**

**Essential Functions/Responsibilities**

The Junior IT Support is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

- Perform the installation of new PCs, printers, and other peripheral devices
- Manage and control office access door & CCTV
- Configuring and maintaining the network for workstations
- Have responsibility for office network stability
- Performing standard software/hardware repairs
- Analyzing the failed equipment and taking the appropriate action
- Doing network and hardware maintenance
- Doing hardware/software procurement
- Manage and organize large scale meetings with vendors and managers
- Creating user accounts and performing access control
- Conduct IT security induction for new employee
- Perform any other related duties as required

**Qualifications/Experience Required**
- Good knowledge of various networking concepts. eg: routing, subnetting, VLAN, security, etc.
- 1+ years of experience in network infrastructure such as Router, Switch, Wireless Connectivity, Cable Management, etc.
- Familiar with many networking brands/technologies (MikroTik, Cisco, etc)
- Experienced and familiar with VPN setup configuration (OpenVPN, L2TP+ipsec, etc)
- 1+ years of experience in troubleshooting and installing Desktop OS (Linux, Windows, OSX/macOS)
- Good knowledge of computer hardware
- Fast learner and willing to learn new skills and technologies
- Excellent problem solver with strong analytical skills
- Experienced with bash script and Windows PowerShell
- Flexibility in working with people coming from different timezones
