- Process incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment issues and improve processes.
- Maintain vendor files and update information as necessary.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Monitor and maintain accounts payable metrics and reporting.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to accounts payable and vendor management is a plus.
