**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our organization as the Regional Finance Director, to be based in Jakarta/Indonesia. This position will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of APAC markets while driving change and transformation initiatives. The Regional Finance Director will play a critical role in enhancing financial performance, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key objectives will include:

- Strategic and hands-on financial management of Pepper Advantage's business in APAC, including business partnership with key stakeholders and the executive team.
- Provide leadership and direction to BUs Controllership, Operational Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis Functions, ensuring a high level of performance and alignment with the Group Finance strategy.
- Leverage technology and Data & Analytics for financial performance analysis, reviews, and decision-making.
- Put full focus on business insights and data points, bringing exceptional customer service inside the organization and excellent business partnering.
- Actively support and contribute to the build-up of Pepper Advantage Group: standardization, automation, offshore/inshore, controls framework, outsourcing vs insourcing.
- Provide leadership and coordination in the preparation off Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts and Financial Planning cycles, with all due diligence and in line with Pepper Advantage Group requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- **Strategy**/ Stakeholders Management**
- Support the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems developments.
- Oversee short and long-term budgetary planning and revenue/costs management in alignment with company and group strategic plans.
- Collaborate with other departments and senior management to align financial strategies with Pepper Advantage Group goals.
- Act as a financial advisor to regional executives, providing insights and recommendations.
- Present financial reports, analyses, and recommendations to Group, senior management, and stakeholders.
- Engage with audit, risk, and compliance around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model and operational delivery and ensure linkage with the Group strategy.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects across the Pepper Advantage Group.
- **Change and Transformation Leadership**
- Drive change and transformation initiatives within the finance function and across APAC BUs, ensuring alignment with wider Group goals.
- Lead process improvement efforts, streamline financial operations, and implement best practices.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives, leveraging technology and automation to enhance processes across the markets in charge.
- **Financial** **Planning** **and** **Analysis**
- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets for the region.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to senior management regarding financial performance and strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and review financial reports, statements, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate the budgeting process for the region, working closely with various departments and stakeholders.
- Prepare financial forecasts and projections for the region, considering market trends and business objectives.
- **Team** **Management**
- Manage a team of finance professionals in the APAC BUs, providing guidance and mentoring.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Identify training and development needs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the finance team, with the focus on Data, Financial Compliance, Business Partnering and Technology.
- **Financial Operations and Control**
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management in accordance with the Group policies.
- Maintain effective financial control systems and processes.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess financial performance and mitigate risks.

**Skills and experience required**
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in finance or finance-related roles, with a significant focus on financial analysis and business partnering.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrate leadership ability, team management and strong interpersonal skills, working with team in multiple jurisdictions.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Create a climate in which people want to do their best by providing appropriate challenge, support, and direction.
