You will closely watch the market and develop a strategic pricing plan to ensure we remain competitive while still making a profit. You will also provide sales support to our team to make sure that their invoicing and purchase order procedures are all in line with your guidelines. Our ideal applicant has a bachelor's degree in accounting and several years of experience with data management, vendor management, and the use of SAP ERP software.
- Calculate any inquiry such as on call, project, dedicated from demand team.
- Calculate cost based for transporter target price.
- Catch up meeting with demand team for any new inquiry from existing and new shipper.
- Negotiation with our vendor in terms of price dealing specially for contracted program.
- Conduct market research to develop competitive yet sustainable pricing guidelines
- Train and support the team to uphold your guidelines
- Carefully watch the market to update your price
- Offer special prices to customers when they are available

**Requirements**:

- A degree, especially logistics related, is seen as an advantage by employers, but not always essential.
- Ideally, a Pricing Specialist will need a good knowledge of the logistics industry in order to do their job. They will need a good grasp of the terminology and concepts of related equipment and logistics.
- Having commercial and economic awareness, including an awareness of global economic factors that can influence the logistics industry, is important.
- The role of Pricing Specialist requires good reporting and analytical skills, including carrying out weekly and monthly reporting on trade.
- A Price Specialist needs to be able to scrutinize tender documents and be aware of changes in the market as well as complete and analyse tender documents.
- A Price Specialist needs to be able to cope with working across a range of areas in a busy, commercial environment.
- Must be competent in software programs such as Mircrosoft Office, Excel, etc.
