We are seeking a highly skilled Government Relations Specialist to join our team at Nestlé SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with government agencies, industry associations, and other external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with various government agencies to monitor new/pending regulations and ensure that the company's concerns are considered in the passage of regulations.
- Ensure that all necessary licenses and certifications are obtained and maintained in a timely manner.
- Evaluate label declarations to ensure compliance with applicable legislations and make necessary amendments.
- Effectively lead, motivate, and develop the communications team.
- 8+ years of experience in government or external relations.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Experience in senior-level negotiations and conflict management.
- Team management experience, particularly managing specialists.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with authorities/industry networks.
- Understanding of social, political, economic changes in the organization (government procedures and formalities, as well as local cultures & values).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
