Senior Supplier Quality Engineer @ SharkNinja

In this exciting role, you will work closely with other cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement activities throughout the entire product life cycle. You will use your expertise to positively impact the organization and meet our goals to deliver 5-star products to consumers worldwide.

We seek an individual with strong characteristics such as integrity, honesty, and a break-through mindset. As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring supplier ongoing product quality performance and initiating continuous improvement activities to achieve/exceed defined supplier quality metrics.

Your tasks will include collaborating with vendors to implement the QA system in factories, ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate policies and procedures, and resolving quality issues on-site in factories to support on-time shipment.

You will review and analyze defect samples, take corrective action, and monitor the quality plan at supplier. Additionally, you will assess the deployment of effective quality tools at supplier, conduct product testing as per the schedule agreed with SharkNinja, and report and lead failure investigations for product failures.

Your other key responsibilities will include pre-approving supplier requests for deviations, supporting the ECN process at supplier, ensuring timely closure of ECNs, updating the CAR process including root cause analysis, and monitoring performance against set metrics for CARs.

The successful candidate will possess sound knowledge of QS and quality improvement tools, e.g., SPC, FMEA, good knowledge of Home Appliance products, and proficiency in writing and reading English.

A certificate/diploma in Electronic/Automation Engineering or knowledgeable and experienced in Quality System (Documented Processes and Procedures) is required. Knowledge of SA8000 (Social Accountability Practices), ISO14000 (Environmental Practices) is a plus.
