About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Strategist to join our team at SawitPRO.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing comprehensive procurement strategies that drive business growth while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of agri inputs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify reliable suppliers across various agri input categories.
  • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers to guarantee the best value in terms of price, quality, and service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate procurement plans with business objectives.
  • Manage and optimize procurement budgets to achieve cost savings without compromising product quality or availability.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards for all procured agri inputs, working closely with suppliers to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee logistics and supply chain management for all agri inputs to ensure efficient and timely availability to meet customer demands.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and new technologies that can influence our product offerings and procurement strategies.
