Our business specialises in consumer electronic products in the US. This role is a fully remote role; with 100% flexibility in setting your working hours (note though that once agreed upon at job offer stage, it needs to be abiding to. Changes need to be discussed and agreed with the hiring team).

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Search Engine Optimization (SEO)**:

- **Keyword Research**: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value keywords and phrases that will drive traffic and conversions.
- **On-Page Optimization**: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, images, and internal links to improve search engine rankings.
- **Off-Page Optimization**: Develop and implement backlink strategies, including outreach, guest blogging, and partnerships, to enhance domain authority.
- **Content Strategy**: Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with identified keywords and trends.
- **Technical SEO**: Address site speed, mobile responsiveness, structured data, crawl errors, and other technical factors that influence search engine performance.
- **Local SEO**: Optimize the website for local search by managing Google My Business profiles, creating local content, and ensuring NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across directories.
- **SEO Audits**: Regularly conduct SEO audits to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.

**Search Engine Marketing (SEM)**:

- **Paid Search Campaigns**: Plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns on platforms like Google Ads to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
- **Budget Management**: Allocate and manage budgets for SEM campaigns, ensuring cost-effective strategies with a high return on investment (ROI).
- **Ad Copy and Landing Pages**: Create compelling ad copy and design high-converting landing pages that align with campaign goals.
- **Performance Analysis**: Monitor and analyze the performance of SEM campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

**WordPress Website Management**:

- **Website Creation**: Build and customize WordPress websites using Elementor, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for SEO.
- **Plugin Management**: Identify and manage essential plugins to enhance website functionality, security, and performance.
- **Website Security**: Implement and monitor security measures to protect the website from threats such as malware and hacking attempts.
- **Speed Optimization**: Optimize website loading times through image compression, caching, and other performance-enhancing techniques.
- **Website Maintenance**: Regularly update the website, fix bugs, and ensure smooth operation. Implement security measures to protect the website from hacking, malware, and other threats. Monitor security logs and address vulnerabilities promptly.

**Analytics and Reporting**:

- **Performance Tracking**: Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to track website performance and campaign success.
- **Data Analysis**: Analyze traffic, user behavior, and conversion data to inform strategic decisions.
- **Reporting**: Generate regular reports on SEO and SEM performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations.

**Continuous Learning and Adaptation**:

- **Stay Updated**: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and algorithm changes in SEO and SEM to ensure the website remains competitive.
- **Testing and Experimentation**: Continuously test and experiment with new strategies, tools, and techniques to improve site performance and rankings.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an SEO and SEM Specialist, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Expertise in WordPress website creation using Elementor, with a strong eye for design and functionality.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including technical SEO, on-page, and off-page optimization.
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
- Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush).
- Strong understanding of website security and speed optimization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with mínimal supervision.
