Blue team dikenal sebagai tim internal yang bertugas melakukan pencegahan serta perlindungan terhadap kemungkinan cyber attack. Bisa dikatakan blue team merupakan defensive team. Tim ini menyadari berbagai teknik yang mungkin dilakukan attacker, oleh karenanya mereka bertugas memperkuat sistem untuk memínimalisir celah yang ada. Namun, bisa jadi blue team tidak sadar bahwa sistem yang mereka bangun terdapat celah, maka dari itu dibutuhkan red team sebagai sisi lain dari blue team.

**Responsibilities**

Deskripsikan tanggung jawab dan tugas pokok dari posisi jabatan ini
- Melakukan Risk Assessment dan Vulnerability Blue Team di tingkat jaringan, sistem, dan aplikasi.
- Melakukan latihan pemodelan ancaman dunia maya dengan alat komersial.
- Memastikan disiplin Vulnerabilty Assessment Blue Team diterapkan.
- Mengikuti Proses dan Kerangka Kerja Vulnerabilty Assessment yang diarahkan oleh pelanggan/kontraktual untuk memasukkan pembuatan dan tinjauan dokumentasi yang terkait dengan penilaian, risiko/masalah dokumen. Merancang, menguji, dan mengimplementasikan sistem operasi yang aman, jaringan, pemantauan keamanan, penyetelan dan pengelolaan sistem dan aplikasi keamanan TI, respons insiden, forensik digital, pencegahan kerugian.
- Memiliki pemahaman menyeluruh dalam berbagai alat, teknik, dan prosedur keamanan, termasuk arsitektur Vulnerability Assessment, implementasi rule firewall dan security profile pada firewall, mengamati lalu lintas data elektronik, dan mengelola akses jaringan.
- Melakukan penelitian produk dan perusahaan, mengevaluasi dan merekomendasikan alat, teknik, dan teknologi keamanan baru. berkolaborasi dengan anggota tim dan memperkenalkan perubahan dan peningkatan alat ke perusahaan yang selaras dengan strategi keamanan TI.
- Makukan analisis atau penilaian untuk memvalidasi persyaratan keamanan yang ditetapkan dan untuk merekomendasikan persyaratan dan perlindungan keamanan tambahan.
- Secara berkala melakukan tinjauan terhadap setiap audit sistem dan memantau tindakan korektif sampai semua tindakan ditutup. Lebih disukai bahwa analis memiliki pengalaman kerja sebelumnya yang memberi pengarahan kepada staf junior dan staf senior.
- Memanfaatkan COTS/GOTS dan alat dan proses/prosedur khusus untuk memindai, mengidentifikasi, menahan, mengurangi, dan mengurangi kerentanan, dan gangguan.
- Berpartisipasi dengan manajer senior untuk menetapkan rencana dan tujuan strategis: Analis dapat berfungsi sebagai juru bicara program pada proyek dan/atau program lanjutan.

- Familiar dengan kontrol keamanan umum dan kelemahan keamanan untuk aplikasi seluler modern, aplikasi web, API, dan infrastruktur cloud
- Memiliki pengetahuan tentang protokol jaringan tingkat rendah (misalnya HTTP, IPv4, TCP, UDP, ICMP, Ethernet, dan 802.11)
- Memahami persyaratan pengujian keamanan dari peraturan keamanan umum seperti PCI DSS dan ISO27001
