The Indonesia campus will be located in Bandung, West Java, which is recognised as an important and vibrant location for higher education in Indonesia. Students and teachers will be part of a thriving education community attracting diverse student cohorts from across Indonesia and globally.

Navitas as a Global Education provider will lead the operational delivery of the campus, building on its existing partnerships with both universities.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Academic Manager (Pathways) will be responsible for the efficient, effective and equitable delivery of the Pathway offerings on the DLI campus. The role will assume responsibility for provision of high quality academic administrative services and learning support services for staff and students across the entire campus (including for Undergraduate and Post Graduate offerings), and leadership and support for Pathway’s teaching staff.

**THE PERSON WE SEEK MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING**:

- Relevant tertiary level qualifications, preferably at postgraduate level, and extensive experience in the administration and management of an academic unit, including experience in the Indonesian education system.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills at both strategic and operational levels, including effective management of resources and teams - preferably in an education and/or training environment.
- Demonstrated experience in effective teaching including ability to develop scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters.
- Demonstrated written communication skills that enable the appointee to compile, present and disseminate reports, submissions, and planning documents.
- Proven ability to initiate, lead and implement change to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations - preferably in an educational setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance in teaching and learning.

**DESIRABLE**:

- Demonstrated experience in a higher education environment.
- Demonstrated conversational fluency in English and Indonesian.
