**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As part of Risk Management, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You will be the Legal Entity Risk Manager (LERM) for JPM Indonesia Securities and part of the APAC Legal Entity Risk team who is responsible in implementing the entity’s risk governance structure that enables effective execution of the legal entity risk management framework. This will include collaborating with risk and control functions and developing a good understanding of the entity’s risk profile and identify emerging risk themes. You will also build meaningful partnerships with key functional stakeholders at different levels in the Firm.

**Job Summary**

You will be the Risk Manager for JPM Indonesia Securities and be part of the APAC Chief Risk Officer (CRO) team which is responsible for further development, implementation and administration of the risk governance structure that enables effective execution of the legal entity risk management framework in the region. You will report functionally to the APAC Legal Entity Risk team lead, based in Singapore and locally to the President Director of JPM Securities Indonesia, based in Jakarta.

This will include collaborating with risk functions (E.g. Market, Credit, Liquidity and Operational risk) and business control functions and developing a good understanding of the entity’s risk profile and identify emerging risks themes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain a LE level risk management procedure which include risk management strategy, determination of risk parameters, including early warning indicators, and risk management oversight.
- Test, evaluate, and recommend an objective improvement on the implementation of risk management system, at least once every year or more frequent in a case where there is a change in a factor which significantly affect the business activities of the LE.
- Identify Risk Requirements relating to the legal entity & coordinates requirements across risk functions; performs elements of a requirement that do not relate to an individual risk function.
- Identifies and evaluates the legal entity’s material aggregate risks and reviews the mitigations for each risk
- Engages in Strategic planning process in order to provide ongoing monitoring and highlight the potential impact on the Firm’s risk profile
- Manage regulatory, audit and compliance engagements impacting Risk functions for the legal entity
- Engage in the firmwide Legal Entity Risk Tiering exercise and periodic review of quantitative and qualitative tiering factors in accordance with the Legal Entity Risk Tiering Procedure to determine level of risk governance and oversight.

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree or tertiary qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Indonesia Capital Market or related to financial services, preferably within risk management, compliance, finance, or control management.
- Hold a Risk Management Certificate (BSMR level 1 at the minimum)
- Hold a Broker-Dealer and/or Underwriter License
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- Intellectual curiosity and able to demonstrate the ability to learn quickly.
- Good degree of initiative, self-direction and level-headed.
