**Internal Counsellor**

Genashtim has an opportunity for In-house Counsellor who willing to work in the comfort of their own homes. This position will report to Human Resources.

As an In-house Counsellor, the competent individual will perform the following:

- Diagnose team member’s emotional and mental disorders
- Counsel community groups and individual team member
- Evaluate team member’s during conversations and interviews to determine the right course of testing and examination
- Develop a treatment plan with elements such as counselling, medication, or other services
- Referring team member to resources such as treatment facilities, psychiatrists, or community services
- Access team member needs and develop team member strategies
- Maintain good working relationships with government resources, support networks, and community resources
- 4Set team member goals and discuss treatment plans
- Listen, encourage, and support team member
- Assist team member and discuss experiences and emotions
- Assist team member through complex life challenges and changes
- Educate team member on coping skills
- Advise and guide team member as they make difficult decisions
- Help team member with various issues such as substance abuse, anger management, bullying, depression, relationships, stress, and suicide

As an Internal Counsellor, you will need to have the following qualifications:

- Counselling
- Compassionate and caring
- Excellent time management skills
- Organised and able to prioritise
- Comfortable in a fast-paced multiple-team member environment
- Able to handle large amounts of files, dates, schedules, and information
- Calm with a positive attitude
- Self-motivated
- Comfortable with building personal relationships and committed to helping others
- Provide support through mentorship and leadership
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, clinical mental health counselling, marriage, family therapy
- Licenced and regulated to perform counselling
- Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Good interpersonal skills and communication skills

- Stable wired internet connection with a minimum of 10mbps for download speed & 5mbps upload, with a ping of not higher than 20ms.
- Properly functioning PC (laptop/desktop) Minimum specifications of o Processor comparable to Intel® i5 or higher; o 8GB of RAM; o 500GB SSD/ HDD or higher

Compensation package range is **_Negotiable_** per month on fulltime, depending on qualification and experience.
