**What will you do**:

- Ensures drilling/wellwork procedures are followed as planned and conducted in an optimum manner.
- Organizes and orders the necessary services and equipment to conduct drilling/wellwork operations.
- Responsible for health and safety procedures being continuously enforced, and making capable decisions in emergency situations.
- Responsible for implementation of OIMS (Operation Integrity Management System) on the rig.
- Ensures rig/wellwork execution unit and third-party equipment is adequately and properly maintained. Maintains inventory of all equipment / materials / supplies to ensure a smooth operation.
- In association with the well site geologists, ensures logging, coring, and production testing are performed as planned.
- Responsible for operations complying with all government and other appropriate regulations.
- Ensures potential pollution control problems are considered and relative contingency plans are understood by rig/wellwork execution unit and third-party personnel.
- Responsible for conducting well control and other drills on a regular basis.
- In association with onsite technical personnel (wells engineer, geologists, etc.), is responsible for abnormal pressure techniques being properly utilized and mud characteristics being maintained for maximum safety and efficient drilling.
- Ensures accurate and adequate reports and records are kept regarding operations, equipment, and evaluation.

**Qualifications**
- BS / BA Degree and / or minimum of ten years in oil and gas drilling/wellwork operation experience.
- Strong leadership and skill in mentoring and supervision.
- Proficient in communication, interpersonal and analytical / problem solving skills
- Understand cost effective of well construction / wellwork operations.
- Good understanding on equipment required to perform well operations.
- Certified in well control (IADC / IWCF).
- Competent in using software required for performing well operation jobs (e.g. Wellview)
- Understanding of Indonesia regulations applicable to well operations.
