Research Librarian

With more than three decades of experience, our professionals provide sophisticated advice on corporate and commercial transactions to help our clients execute even the most challenging deals and represent domestic and multinational clients in court at various stages of legal proceedings, including at the Tax Court and the Supreme Court.

We currently need a **Research Librarian** to join the Firm with the main responsibility to manage and deliver information and research services within the context of the firm's Information and Research strategy and to act as a point of contact for information and research requests and enquiries. You will work with the Library Manager, Knowledge Partner and local Knowledge team.
- Ensure and facilitate timely access to relevant legal information and research resources to support lawyers providing advice to clients
- Perform research (locate and access various information sources, and present the findings)
- Deliver, maintain and develop current awareness, such as newsletters and alert information
- Perform cataloging, data entry to Library database, and book shelving
- Perform document scanning and tasks related with digitization process and content management ]
- Assist in purchase activity within approved budget
- Manage relationships with local vendors
- Support and participate in the adoption and use of Knowledge and I&R systems ]
- Prepare reports as needed
- Manage a variety of assignments from the Library Manager, e.g., participate in and lead projects as requested
- Attend meetings, training or any development activities
- Other responsibilities as assigned

Applicants must be Indonesian citizens with the following qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science with a minimum GPA of 3.00
- At least three years' working experience of knowledge, information and research in a professional services environment. Experience in a consulting firm, a law firm or a legal division of a corporate would be preferable
- Ability to address information needs of stakeholders
- Comprehension of a diverse set of knowledge and information resources
- Computer literate (Microsoft, regulations database)
- Excellent communication skills in Indonesian and English
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, build strong relationships virtually, and communicate effectively, comfortable working in a large, complex environment, highly credible and persuasive
- Strong people management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage people's time to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demand, including learning new skills when required
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong ability to work independently, while also being a good team player
