**Duties**:
The Human Resources (HR) Assistant in the Human Resources Office provides effective human resources related advice and comprehensive service to all HR office sections, U.S. Direct Hire (USDH) employees, and family members (EFMs) under the Bi-Mission (U.S. Mission to Indonesia and U.S. Mission to ASEAN), including TDYers. The incumbent manages the performance evaluation process for Department of State (DOS) USDH and EFM employees; assists the HR section with various projects, and keeps the section up to date with guidance and standard operating procedures; assists the Recruitment & Development Unit with hiring, recruitment and tracking of USDH, EFM, and LE staff positions; manages the security clearance process for EFM employees; oversees the Duty Officer program, processes awards for DOS USDH employees, helps manage the EER, manages the U.S. Fellow and Interns programs, and coordinates the Foreign Service Officer Test (FSOT) for post.

**EXPERIENCE**: Must have a minimum two years of experience in office administration or experience in a customer service environment providing information and solving problems.

**EDUCATION**: Must have at least a two years of post-secondary education (60 credit hours).

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
